Scholarship purpose and intent

Helping non-traditional students achieve success as they return to school

The decision to go back to school as an adult with different responsibilities than the traditional college student is a challenging endeavor. Many adults return to school to pursue a new degree, starting a Master’s, Doctoral, or other professional programs to advance their careers all while working and/or supporting a family. Higher education is a continuously valuable resource in a rapidly changing workforce where specialized skills and expertise thrive.

With significant declines in manufacturing jobs, the new knowledge economy is massively expanding. At Ultius, we believe in embracing the new knowledge economy and supporting individuals shape their careers coupled with technology. We believe exploring different career paths is fundamentally empowering, no matter at what age.
